Consignment labels, visit recordings and referrals
Three short settings pages: which goods get a consignment label, how long visit audio is kept and who can stop a recording, and your referral link and the businesses you referred.
Screens may differ slightly from what you see.
What it is for
- Consignment labels (Admin > Consignment labels) decides which goods get a label when you print consignment labels.
- Visit recordings (Admin > Visit recordings) sets how long visit audio is kept on the server and who can stop a recording.
- Referrals (Admin > Referrals) shows your referral link and the businesses you have referred.
Who can use it
- Consignment labels: the menu entry is for owners and directors. The server decides who may change the rules (owner or director, with a labelling permission). Everyone else sees them read-only. The panel says "Only an owner or director with the labelling permission can change these."
- Visit recordings: the menu entry is shown to people holding the permission Manage Settings. The page shows nothing when visit recording is switched off for your company.
- Referrals: owners and directors. A manager gets "Only an owner or director can see referrals."
How to use it
Set the consignment label rules
- Open Consignment labels. The page says it controls "a label on every box, one summary label for the whole line, or none".
- For each of Fittings, Tiles and Consumables, choose from the menu: "A label on every box", "One summary label" or "No label".
- Fill in Tiles words (comma separated) and Consumables words (comma separated). These words decide which category a linked product falls into, matched against its category or type.
- Select Save rules. "Saved" confirms it.
- A line not linked to a product always uses the Fittings rule, and is flagged in the print popup.
- The recommended rules are fittings per box, tiles none, consumables summary.
- Label everything (per box) puts a label on every box.
- The rules apply to label sets made from now on. An existing consignment changes only through its own "Regenerate labels".
- If your company does not use consignments, the page says "Consignments and labels are not switched on for your company."
Set visit recording rules
- Open Visit recordings. The page reads "How long visit audio is kept on our server, and who can stop a recording."
- Enter the number of days in Keep visit audio for this many days (1 to 90; then it is deleted).
- Under Who can stop a recording, choose "Only the person recording" or "The person recording or managers".
- Save. "Saved" confirms it.
You cannot enter more than 90 or less than 1 day. Without the permission the server refuses the change and the panel explains it.
Use the Referrals page
- Open Referrals.
- Under Your referral link, select Copy. The card says to share it with other businesses and that they appear below once they join the waiting list with it. Your code is shown under the link.
- Under Businesses you referred, read each business name and its status.
The statuses on the page are: Signed up (email not yet confirmed), Confirmed, Now a paying customer, Reward approved and Not eligible. The page says a referral counts once the business confirms its email and later becomes a paying IBIOS customer. It shows business names and status only, never the referred person's contact details.
Tips
- Change the consignment rules before you print a new label set. Old consignments do not change on their own.
- Set the retention days to the shortest time you can work with. After it, the audio is deleted.
- If Referrals says "Referrals are not open yet.", nothing is wrong with your account.
Things to know
- The Visit recordings page appears blank for companies without visit recording.
- Consignment labels uses three goods categories only.
- The referral reward process is handled by IBIOS staff. See Platform admin for the staff side. It is not a screen for your company.
