Read the GoHighLevel showroom briefing
What the GoHighLevel briefing card tells you before a showroom visit or a call, where it appears, what the warnings mean, and how to correct something the call intent got wrong.
Screens may differ slightly from what you see.
What it is for
The briefing card gives you the context for a visit or a call in one place: who the customer is, what they want, what they have already been told and what they objected to. It draws on the GoHighLevel booking or lead and on the call intent IBIOS took from the calls. Read it before you visit or ring back, so you do not ask the customer for something they have already told someone.
The card only reads. It does not change GoHighLevel, and it does not change the customer record. For changes, use the call reports. See Read a GoHighLevel call report and send a recap email.
Who can use it
- Appointments: you see the card on a booking you can see in the calendar. The rule is the same as the appointment itself: you need to see your own bookings, or your team's if your role allows it.
- Leads: you see the card on a lead you can see.
- Brand: a briefing for a customer in a brand you cannot see is not shown. You will see the card missing, not an error that says the customer exists.
- Whether the card is shown at all: it depends on the Build showroom briefings switch on the GoHighLevel panel. See Connect GoHighLevel and check the connection.
How to use it
Find the card
- Open the calendar and click the appointment. The appointment drawer opens.
- Look for the card labelled GoHighLevel briefing. Leads show the same card on the lead record.
Read the card
The card lists these, when they are known:
- Opportunity and Stage: where the lead is in the GoHighLevel pipeline, with the Stage sync note if the stage did not match.
- Calls: each call with Spoke with, Last contact and the Source, and a short summary. If a call has no summary, the card says No summary for this call.
- Qualification, Urgency, Wants and Objections: from the call intent.
- Key requirements and Action points: what the customer needs and what was agreed.
- Catchment (IBIOS): whether the address is inside the area you fit.
Where a field is not known, it says — Not set —. Treat that as "not known yet", not as "no".
Read the warnings
- These disagree: check the address before the visit. GoHighLevel and IBIOS hold different addresses for this customer. Confirm the address on the day before you drive out.
- GHL value next to an IBIOS value: the two systems hold different things. Check which is right before you rely on it.
- (new GoHighLevel field, not reviewed yet): the field has come in from GoHighLevel and nobody has checked it. Treat it as a note.
- The GoHighLevel briefing could not be loaded. Try again later. The card does not guess.
Correct the call intent
If the card says something the customer did not say:
- Open the call on the card and click Edit intent.
- Change the wrong item and click Save correction.
The correction is kept as a learning example, so the next briefing learns from it. It does not change the customer record.
Tips
- Read the card before you open the customer record. The record shows what is confirmed; the card shows what has been said.
- Check the Last contact date. A briefing from last month may not reflect today.
- If the card looks wrong, correct the intent rather than leaving it. Other people will read it next.
Things to know
- The briefing is built from GoHighLevel and from calls, so it can be out of date by the time you read it. The Last contact and the call dates show how old it is.
- Health and personal detail are not kept in the briefing. If the card shows something you think should not be there, tell a manager.
- Read-only: nothing you do on the card is sent back to GoHighLevel.

Common questions
Where do I find the GoHighLevel briefing card?
Open the calendar, click the appointment and look for the card labelled GoHighLevel briefing in the drawer. Leads show the same card on the lead record. It only reads, and does not change the customer record.
Why is the briefing card missing on an appointment?
The card depends on the Build showroom briefings switch on the GoHighLevel panel. It also follows your view rights: a briefing for a customer in a brand you cannot see is not shown.
