Rewrite an email on the phone, and insert bank details
How Rewrite, the tone choices, Draft reply and Insert bank details work in the phone's email composer, and what always stays exactly as you wrote it.
What it is for
When you write an email on the phone, the Rewrite bar lets the AI tidy your wording. You choose a style from the list. The AI changes wording only. It is never allowed to change a fact your customer relies on.
What always stays exactly as you wrote it
- Phone numbers, email addresses and websites, in the same format you typed them.
- Prices, dates and references such as a quote number.
- The bank details block, if you inserted one.
The AI is not shown these. They are swapped for markers before it writes, and put back, character for character, afterwards.
Rewrite
- Open the email on the phone and tap the Rewrite bar.
- Choose a style from the list. Brand voice is first. The others are Corporate, Professional, Friendly, Casual, Empathetic and Concise. Choose Concise if you want a shorter email.
- Tap Rewrite and wait. The button shows Rewriting… while it works.
- Read the new text before you send it. Tap Show original to see what you wrote, or Try again for another version.
If you change the text while the AI is working, the rewrite is not applied. You see a message saying so.
When the AI drops something
You are not left with an error.
- If a phone number, email address or website is left out, IBIOS puts it back in a sign-off line, exactly as you wrote it.
- If the rewrite would change a price, date or reference, it is not applied. You see Not changed: and the item that would have changed. Press Try again, or edit the text yourself.
- If the AI adds a price, date, refund or promise that is not in your text, it is listed under The AI added these. Tick each one you want to keep. Leave the rest unticked.
Draft reply
On a quote, Draft reply writes a reply from the latest emails for you to check and edit before you send. If no draft can be made, your text stays as it was and a message says so.
Insert bank details
Insert bank details adds your company's bank transfer block to the email. It uses the details for the quote's own company, and for the quote's brand if that brand has its own complete set. It never uses another company's details.
- If bank details are switched off, you see "Bank details are switched off for your company".
- If they are switched on but nothing has been entered yet, you see "No bank details have been set for your company yet". Nothing is inserted.
- If the bank block is already in the email, you see "Bank details are already in the email".
Set the details up on the company details page. See Company details, bank details and branding.
Coming soon
- Short, Standard and Detailed length choices on the web email composer. They are not on the web yet, so the web composer does not show them.
