See who is in and who is missing a timesheet
A manager's view of hours booked today, missing timesheets and expected against actual hours.
Screens may differ slightly from what you see.
What it is for
The Workforce page, headed "Workforce insights", shows managers hours booked per person and per job this week. It shows who is in and where time is going.
Who can use it
If timesheets are not switched on, you see "Workforce insights are not enabled" and a note to ask an administrator to enable the workforce suite.
How to use it
Read the page
- Open Workforce from the top of the menu.
- Who's in today lists Worker, Job and Hours booked on that day. Time not tied to a job reads "Non-job time".
- Missing timesheets is for the week containing the reference day. A worker with no timesheet shows "No timesheet started". One with a blank grid shows "Timesheet opened, nothing entered".
- Expected vs actual hours shows Expected, Actual and Variance for each worker, plus "Days with no entry".
Change the week
Use the week control to move to another week. The page reloads the three panels for that week.
Tips
- Use Missing timesheets to chase people, then open Timesheet Approvals and its Team week tab.
- If there are no active workers on the roster for the week, the variance panel says so.
Things to know
- A Cost column appears only when the server returns cost figures. If you cannot see costs, the column is simply not there.
- If the page shows an error, it shows the message returned.
