Order Sheets: open a job's supplier order sheet

Search for a job and open its supplier order sheet, and where switched on, mark the job as fully dispatched or undo it.

Marking a job fully dispatched needs a second permission, 'Mark fully dispatched'.

Screens may differ slightly from what you see.

What it is for

Order Sheets lists jobs with a supplier order sheet and gives each a link to open it. The page subtitle reads "Open any job's supplier order sheet".

Who can use it

You need the order-sheets permission. Without it the page shows: "You do not have access to order sheets. Ask an owner or manager to switch on "Order sheets" for you in Settings -> Permissions."

The Mark fully dispatched and Undo buttons appear only if your role has the "Mark fully dispatched" permission and the company has switched dispatch tracking on.

How to use it

Find and open a sheet

1. Open Order Sheets.
2. Type in the search box. It reads "Search customer name, job ref or quote ref". The list updates after a short pause.
3. Each row shows the customer name, the job reference, bathroom type if known, the quote reference and the quote date.
4. Click Open order sheet. It opens in a new tab.

If a row says "Sheet link not valid - ask the office", the link could not be used.

Mark a job fully dispatched

This is only available when dispatch tracking is on.

1. Click Mark fully dispatched on the job's row.
2. The row greys and shows "Fully dispatched" with the date and who did it.
3. To reverse it, click Undo.

With tracking on, fully dispatched jobs are hidden. Tick Show all (including fully dispatched) to see them.

Page through the list

The list shows 50 at a time. Use Previous and Next.

Tips

• If the list looks empty with tracking on, the page says: No order sheets waiting. Tick "Show all" to see fully dispatched jobs.
• A refusal when marking dispatched tells you which permission to ask for.

Things to know

• The page does not build the order sheet. It only links to it.
• If dispatch tracking is switched off while you are working, a message says the job is no longer available or tracking has been switched off, and the list refreshes.
