Multichannel listings and listing feeds
Publish a product live to a channel with a listing API, manage each listing, or build a CSV feed for marketplaces that have no live API.
Screens may differ slightly from what you see.
What it is for
Two pages for getting your products onto sales channels.
- Multichannel Listings writes a product straight to a channel that has a live listing API. The page says currently this means ShopWired.
- Listing Feeds is for marketplaces with no live API. It builds a CSV you upload yourself. The page is clear that this is a download, not a live publish.
Who can use it
Both appear in the navigation for roles with Manage Suppliers.
How to use it
Publish a product live (Multichannel Listings)
Publishing writes to the live channel, and only happens when you click.
- Open Multichannel Listings.
- In Publish a product to a channel, choose a Channel. Channels that cannot take a live listing are greyed with "(not available)" and the tier is named (live API, CSV feed, manual or no listing). A note explains why.
- Search for a product ("Search a product by name / SKU...") and click Search, then click the product.
- Click Publish (live). A green message confirms.
Manage existing listings
The table shows Product, Channel, Status, Published and Actions.
- Status is one of draft, queued, live, error, ended or needs_attention. For an error, a short reason shows under it.
- A link icon beside the date opens the listing on the channel.
- Update (or Publish if it has never gone live) re-publishes it.
- End delists it. Ended listings cannot be updated or ended again.
- Refresh at the top reloads the table.
Build a listing feed
- Open Listing Feeds.
- Under New template, enter a name and choose the channel: B&Q / TradePoint (Mirakl), ManoMano or Wayfair. Header row is ticked by default.
- Click Add column. For each, type the marketplace's Vendor header and choose which of your product fields fills it.
- Click Create template (or Save changes when editing). Edit and Delete are in Saved templates.
- In Products to include in the feed, search and click products to add them. Remove one with its cross.
- Click Generate CSV on the template. It downloads, and the page says how many products it holds.
Generate CSV is disabled until you pick at least one product.
Tips
- Check the channel note before publishing. A channel on the CSV tier needs Listing Feeds, not Listings.
- The feed field list contains no cost or trade-price field.
Things to know
- Publishing, updating and ending are live writes to the channel.
- Feeds are files only. You upload them to the marketplace yourself.
