Web orders on the phone
Browse web orders on the phone and open one to read its status, customer, items, totals and notes. This is read-only.
Screens may differ slightly from what you see.
What it is for
A quick view of web orders when you are away from a desk, for example to check an order's status or call a customer. The two screens only read information. You cannot change an order from the phone.
Who can use it
The Web Orders card (and the side-menu entry) is shown for sales, senior sales, manager, director and owner. Other roles do not see it.
How to use it
Browse the list
- On the home screen tap Web Orders.
- The list shows the newest orders first. It loads 30 at a time and loads more as you scroll down.
- Each row shows the order, the customer and a status badge. Small tags warn you: Status conflict, Customer not linked and Has notes.
- Pull down to refresh. If loading fails you see "Could not load web orders" with a Retry button. An empty list says "No web orders yet".
Open an order
Tap an order. The detail screen shows:
- The order reference and "Placed" date, with status badges. A conflict shows "Status conflict" with the IBIOS status and the website status.
- The customer. Tap the email to start an email, the phone number to call, or the address to open it in Maps.
- Line Items, with quantity and SKU. An item the system cannot match shows Unresolved. Tap an item that has a product link to open it.
- Subtotal, Shipping and Total.
- Notes & Timeline, with each note and where it came from. With none it says "No notes yet".
Tips
- Tap the phone number on the detail screen to ring the customer straight from the order.
- If a status looks wrong, note it and resolve it on the web (see Work on a web order).
Things to know
- Sorting is fixed to newest first. There are no filters on the phone.
- Currency is shown with the order's own currency.
